Meet A Chiropractor in Harrisburg, PA - Doctor Loren Barisch
Let's meet Doctor Loren Barisch. Starting at the beginning, his father, was a Chiropractor in Linglestown, PA Thus, Loren was introduced to the importance of Chiropractic at a young age. As a result, Dr. Barisch knew he wanted to walk in his father's footsteps. When you first meet Doctor Loren Barisch, his passion for helping people shines through.
First off in his educational endeavors, Loren first earned an undergraduate degree in biology. Consequently, he went on to complete his Doctorate from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Because he grew up in Harrisburg and has strong ties to the community, after he graduated, he returned to serve the local community.
Meet Doctor Loren Barisch - Outside His Practice
When not helping his practice members, "Dr. B.", as he is affectionately known to his friends and family, is an avid cyclist, outdoorsman and natural health advocate. Due to placing a priority on his health, he has spent many years studying nutrition's effect on the body. When not in his office, he can almost always be found participating in some kind of outdoor activity.
In addition, Dr. Barisch is committed to improving his industry through advocacy and education. Hence, he has been a member of the Chiropractic Fellowship of Pennsylvania., even more, he has as served as Treasurer of the Fellowship since 2005.
Dr. B holds a USA Cycling CAT3 road racing license and much of his time outside of the practice is spent training for road races, criteriums, and time trials.
He has been involved in the Boy Scouts of America for over 30 years and is currently serving as an Assistant Scout Master for a troop based in Linglestown, Pennsylvania.
As a result of his involvement in these organizations, Dr. Barisch has formed a bond with not only the Practice of Chiropractic but also the Harrisburg community.
